Medium is a not a diverse platform in terms of ideas about race and equality. You have brought up some interesting points to ponder. While I agree with the general gist of your article (pining racism on just one group of people is unlikely to be productive), I don’t think you’ve made enough of an argument to conclude that there is a “pandemic”. This is simply not a platform representative of all views. All anyone can do is read a range of articles and critically evaluate arguments of any one author (or not). Many of the negative perspectives around white women, for example, are anecdotal. The author, or authors, may make a case that certain actions are generalisable to race but at the end of the day you see what you want to see. If I surround myself with such articles it may become my reality. If I make the decision to view balanced perspectives where possible (e.g. by clicking on your article instead of one mentioned in your article) then that also influences my reality. Likewise, you saw many articles and came to the conclusion that the majority think that way because you couldn’t find an article like yours. I can tell you I’ve found articles that are much more extreme than yours. Everyone can feed the algorithm to change what they see.
